Montebello Jewish Center strives to bring the beauty and depth of the Jewish Tradition to the citizens of Rockland and Bergen Counties. Through our passion and dedication to Jewish engagement and living, our congregational family prides itself on its warm community of multi-generational individuals and families. We strive to create a home for vibrant, participatory, and musically inspiring prayer, as well as innovative programming for all ages. We are committed to cultivating a love of Judaism for our youngest members, inspired through our youth groups and religious school, as well as our continuing learners who enjoy a myriad of programs and classes.

Synagogue Happenings

 
Learn Mah Jongg at MJC: Beginner's Class will be held on four Tuesdays, beginning January 7th, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.  Class will be taught by Elisa Hirsch (the Fairy MahjMother).  Cost is $118, plus a mah jongg card.  For more information, contact Natalie at 201-407-8896.

Hebrew Chai with the Rabbi: A new program for post-b'nai mitzvah teens, meeting monthly on Wednesday nights. Next meeting is January 8th at 6:00 pm. Click here for more information.
